In this yoga style, poses are held for a longer duration allowing the body to release all tension and ache. An après ski yoga flow is a rejuvenating practice designed to help unwind and restore the body after a day on the slopes. This flow typically begins with gentle stretches to release tension in the shoulders, hips, and back, counteracting the tightness that can result from skiing.
The class is designed with the mountain athlete in mind, emphasizing key muscle groups used in skiing and snowboarding. This Hatha-inspired class focuses on warming up the body while relaxing into longer holds, working fascia and scar tissues. The intention to end the class with a relaxed body and deeper flexibility. Perfect for the leisurely skier or the “no friends on a pow day” athlete.
An all levels class that will nourish your body, mind and spirit. Combination of breathwork, very dynamic muscle activations flowing into postures and finally relaxation, all core elements of a yoga practice .
